“Commitment, companionship, mentoring and support” is the best definition I have for Canning Vale Toastmasters (CVTM). The club has worked very hard to create the most conducive environment for learning of these much-needed skills.
I have been a club member for about 18 months and guess what? I am not the same person as I was when I joined. My goals were to improve my confidence, vocabulary and engagement with people, as I struggled a lot in those aspects of my life. I am glad to let you know that with the help of CVTM, I have certainly improved and ultimately, I have managed to reach greater levels outside of Toastmasters as well.
In this coming year, as the President of the club, my aspirations and hope is to see more new faces joining us and us helping them to achieve their goals. Together with the newly elected club officers, we commit to working hard to support our club members and ultimately maintaining our Presidents Distinguished Club status. Thank you and I hope you all have a wonderful time here at CVTM.
