On March 4th 2025 CVTM reached a milestone of 800 meetings. The theme for the meeting was Prosperity and the colour theme was Red and Gold. It was an amazing night as we celebrated with past and current members by sharing memories of the past. Keoni Upton gave a speech about how Toastmasters has helped him hone his new found talent as a Podcaster in his speech “Oh Crickey, what am I doing?”. Robyn Richards talked about how CVTM started and what the club has become in it’s 800 meeting journey in her speech “It was my turn, now what?”. Past member Vanessa Chang gave a special presentation called “Measuring Prosperity” as she asked us what really is Prosperity, comparing it to being wealthy or surrounding yourself with love, or being a member of CVTM.
Each of our past members were introduced on stage sharing their time at CVTM, being Andre Sequeira DTM, Chandana Weerasekera DTM, Vanessa Chang Past President, Peter Darangwa Past President, Sanjeev Saran, Nina Atiya and Lei Liu.
Table Topics from Eloyise had the theme of 800 in them as members were challenged to some tricky topics.
We were also joined by our Area Director, Cassie Walraven and Division Director, Sam Craig.

Last night was unforgettable as we celebrated our 800th meeting with both past and current members! 
We are truly prosperous, not just because of the milestone, but because we got to share this amazing moment together. 
From the vibrant red & gold decor to the joy that filled the room, it was a night to remember! I’m sure everyone who joined had as much fun as I did!
