John Palmer has won the crown of “Toastmaster of the Year” for Canning Vale Toastmasters Club making him the second winner of the title.
John has been a very active member since joining the club in February 2009 and has recently attained his ACS and has become the Area Governor for Area W16 which Canning Vale is a part of. John was heavily involved with the chartering of the new club “Southern River Toastmasters” where he is now the VPE for the club. John has also involved himself in starting Gavel Clubs in schools, bringing the Toastmasters experience to children.
John’s dedication to Toastmasters and to Canning Vale has seen him win the title and we wish him all the best as he expands his Toastmasters journey beyond the club level.
John receives the award from Western Division Governor, Robyn Richards and past winner and now Club President, Phyll Lightbody.
