John Palmer & Diana Veitch have won their way through to the District final for International and Evaluation contests which will be held in Creswick, Victoria on the 14-16th May 2010. Even though they both were representing other clubs in the Division, we know they both have their roots firmly planted in Canning Vale. We wish them all the best.
John placed first in the International Speech contest with his speech, “My Dad, My Hero”. If he wins at District level, he will go onto the USA for the World Championships. Diana placed first in the Evaluation contest with a great evaluation of Tim Mcnamara’s speech, “The World’s Oldest Profession”
