3 more days to Power Up on the Peninsula. 2 more meetings to our 300th Meeting.
Are you excited? 🙂
Last evening, I thought I would take some time off my busy life to attend the CVTM meeting – great choice made because Olivia Schofield is in town and she attended our meeting last night! Olivia is the top woman speaker in the World Championship of Public Speaking in Las Vegas in 2011, out of 35,000 contestants from 116 countries!
One of the highlights from last evening was.. Table Topic, where Olivia’s entrepreneur idea was Gangnam style dance teacher. She included a short dance lesson for everyone in her 90 seconds speech. This is one of the rare times where everyone stood up and dance in table topics!
Olivia teaching the new and improved Gangnam style.
During the meeting, we have had 2 ice breaker speeches from Elena and Mathew, project speech by Steve and introduction to Revitalised Education Program (REP) by Peter Jordan. Really enjoyed the speeches from last night, and from this meeting, we have also learn that:
- Elena is a tap dancer.
- Matthew plays saxophone and chess. He is looking for good chess player but not Mark.
- Steve got his ‘udder side’ from his father. If there is something in your shoes, that is probably your foot.
- At Canning Vale, we will have the best REP because Peter Jordan is one of the best REP ambassador!
