This years recipient of the coveted “CVTM Toastmaster of the Year” has gone to Takashi Kurihara. Takashi was a popular winner as he has shown the true qualaties of a caring and giving member. Takashi was shocked when his name was announced but eventually came forward to accept his accolades from the members. Takashi has grown so much over the years with Canning Vale and as english is his second language, this is a remarkable achievement.

At the start of the meeting the new club comittee was inducted by the District 17 Governor, Mark Richards (seated). The new committee are, from left to right – President – John Cecchi, VPE – Robyn Richards, VPM – Fiona McLean, VPPR – Manuel Morin, Treasurer – Mick Turner, Secretary – Michele Naidu & SAA – Mark Pidcock.
