WOW what a fantastic weekend for Canning Vale TMs in Hahndorf South Australia May 22nd to 24th. 10 members of CVTM travelled over to SA for a weekend full of contests, workshops, keynote speakers and most of all, FUN.
Canning Vale won 2 awards while at convention which were the Travel Gavel, for the most distance covered by a club to convention and the Knox award for the most amount of members from 1 club at the convention. A truly remarkable achievement.
Here we receive the Travel Gavel (that really did travel,it was missing) and the Knox award from International President, Jana Barnhill.
Hermine performed at her best in the International speech contest but was denied a place in the top 3. She gained a lot from the contest and vows to be back bigger and better next time.
Mark was elected as the LGM for the District and here he is with the District 73 executive for this year. left to right,
