Sarah was crowned our latest Toastmaster of the Year recipient at the first meeting in July. This was the final official role for our Immediate Past President, Frank. It is continually a highlight of our club to award this prestigious award and this year, as always, it was awarded to a most deserving member.
Here are some comments from our members outlining why Sarah was voted Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year;
For her outstanding performance in her role as VPE for the latter part of the last calendar year whilst being overworked in other areas of her life. Additionally, for her tireless participation in club meetings and events.
She was very active with the club and she took the opportunity to go to other clubs to help out with their contests and evaluations.
Since I joined the club, she provides me with support and helps me to grow. In addition, she always stepped into the role when club needs assistance.
She is a role model and I have seen her presentation skills becoming stronger during the year.
Her background in Education and teaching is a valuable asset to the club
Sarah is always there early to help set up for the meeting. She is always friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic which is great for new members and to retain members.
She’s had a phenomenal year with 4 awards and completed a Path.
Has completed many speeches and levels this year.
Congratulations Sarah!
