Vanessa Chang & Mike Palmer each won their Division Final for International & Evaluation to go through to the District Final in May. Vanessa won the International Speech contest with her rousing speech “In This Moment” and Mike won the Evaluation contest, representing Southern River Toastmasters, with a clinical evaluation of Delani’s test speech “Put it in Perspective”. Vanessa also won the Humorous speech contest back in November last year and will represent us in both Humorous and International at the District Finals.
We wish them the very best of luck at the District Final and should Vanessa win the International, she will be boarding a plane for Vancouver, Canada in August heading to the World Championship of Public Speaking.
